Album Review: The Red In The Sky Is Ours (1992)

For fans of: death metal... and unnecessary noise

At The Gates - The Red In The Sky Is OursThis album is a bit like being raped in the ear by a sausage dog. It's hard to know what else to say...

Very little to recommend it - a few snippets of something that sounds vaguely decent are trapped in an onslaught of underproduced (in a bad way) drum rhythms and shallow guitar screams.

How the hell At The Gates went from this to Slaughter Of The Soul only three and a bit years later is beyond me.

Check out... Something else, for the love of all things holy!
