Album Review: With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness (1993)
For fans of: death metal... and complex titles which may well have a deep hidden meaning
Difficult album this... The production is terrible, but hidden in there are a monstrous pile of decent tracks. You get plenty of war-bred double kick drums and a fine selection of melodic chugging riffs vying for your attention, but it's just so damn hard to listen to!
With Fear I Kiss The Burning Darkness definitely set the band in the right direction towards 1995's Slaughter Of The Soul masterpiece, but whether it is a good album itself remains to be seen.
If only they would re-record it and bloody well do it properly this time...
Check out... Their follow-up album. Much more like it.
