Album Review: VII (2007)
For fans of: power metal... and bands that go medieval on yo' ass
Absolutely stonking record with a huge Germanic sound. Lead singer Rick Altzi sounds like Jorn Lande in a smoking jacket, and most of the songs make you want to pick up a battle axe and head to your nearest castle for some debauchery.
They even manage to squeeze in some soft yet deafening ballads in the form of 'Answer Me', 'Lost In Your Love' and 'Shiver'. Definitely worth donning your armour and head banging to.
Check out... The cover. It must win some sort of award for best use of a nipple on an album - good work guys!
