BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE - stub review added 25th October 2008
Album Review: The Poison (2005)
For fans of: metalcore... and Wales
Breakthrough album from the Welsh rockers stands up well to the tide of American acts in this genre. Plenty of surprisingly catchy tunes, led by 'Her Voice Resides' and 'Tears Don't Fall', but ultimately many of the songs are repetitive and derivative.
An album that's worthy of several listens, but it's more about the few good songs than the whole experience. Bullet For My Valentine have received a huge amount of positive and negative press. The Poison makes it hard to know which fence to sit on
Check out... I'd have to say Snowdonia National Park
