Album Review: Silicon Messiah (2000)
For fans of: heavy metal... and former Wolfsbane singers
1st album from former Wolfsbane/Iron Maiden front man Blaze Bayley using the Blaze moniker. A reasonably good effort, but there does seem to be something missing. The songs are perfectly well written and do a good job of sticking in the noggin, but they tend to plod rather than rock.
There are hints of his Iron Maiden work here plus all sorts of Judas Priest and other references vying for attention. The end result is jolly good, just not outstanding.
Check out...The title track is pretty handy.
