BON JOVI - stub review added 24th October 2008

Album Review: New Jersey (1988)

For fans of: hard rock... and schizophrenic albums

Bon Jovi - New JerseyThe first three songs are absolute classics but, from then on, it sounds like Bon Jovi couldn't be bothered. 'I`ll Be There For You' is a fine song, but it's merely a Mars bar in a bowl of poops.

Bon Jovi, in 1988, were flying on the success of Slippery When Wet. Anything they produced was going to sell. Shame they couldn't have spent a couple more months producing a more rounded album, and therefore a couple of less months taking the pee out of their fans.

Check out... Download tracks 1, 2, 3 and 10 off iTunes. I wouldn't bother with the rest.
