Album Review: Hungry (1997)

For fans of: power metal... and the love child of Alien, Predator and Terminator

Brainstorm - HungryNice thrashy German power metal album with a good chunky sound. Lead singer Marcus Jurgens has an interesting twang to his voice that gives added character over rival bands, and the solid riffs and drum rhythms lend the album a meatiness you want to put in a bun and call a steak sandwich.

Missing some of the melodies of later albums, but heavier and darker and great for head banging to.

*Re-released in 2007 as a re-mastered main album with several bonus tracks, plus the original album as a second disc.

Check out... The crazy thing on the cover.
