Album Review: United (2006)
For fans of: power metal... and singers with amusing yet cool voices
Follow-up album to the jolly spiffing The Book Of Heavy Metal, United was always going to have a lot to live up to. You know what? It doesn't do too badly.
The best songs on this album are not as good as the best ones on the previous album, but with one exception the average song quality is just as high. That one exception is 'My Number One' which is a cover of a Greek Eurovision Song Contest winning song. It has no real place here, although I sadly admit grows on me every time I hear it. Grrr!!!
Overall, United might not pip it's older sibling. It's still a great addition to Dream Evil's discography though.
