Album Review: Trying To Burn The Sun (1975)
For fans of: blues rock... and old American car chase movies
Elf's third album, Trying To Burn The Sun is more of the same from Ronnie James Dio's first big project. Funky blues inspired songs have a soft Smoky And The Bandit/Dukes Of Hazzard feel to them and just make you want to get a V8 and drive too quickly.
Not quite as good as the previous album, but not bad all the same.
