Album Review: Out Of This World (1988)
For fans of: hard rock... and plenty of hair on an album cover
Follow up to the huge Final Countdown record, Out Of This World does to an extent tread the same path. Many of the songs could almost have come from the same recording sessions.
Joey Tempest's voice sounds as pure and musical as ever, and special mention should be made to Kee Marcello who is one of the best guitarists you've probably never heard of.
Whilst not quite as good as their previous release, Out Of This World still has plenty of addictive music on it. The good thing with Europe, unlike many of their fellow 'hair' bands, is that their music doesn't seem to age as much. Out Of This World still sounds modern and fresh twenty years on.
