Album Review: From The Inside (Self Titled) (2004)
For fans of:hard rock... and simply stunning ballads
This album is a revelation. Using songs from several different writers, including a couple by lead singer Danny Vaughn, this album could have been a mish-mash of styles and sounds. The reality, though, is completely the opposite.
Although softer than a soft thing, From The Inside's eponymous debut is an inspiring collection of anthems ranging from the most heartfelt of ballads to uplifting driving tracks. The album rocks out more than occasionally, but it always retains a beautiful subtlety than means even the most pounding rhythms are mysteriously chilled.
Few albums contain this many great songs and even fewer are kept this quiet from the world at large. How this has failed to sell several million copies is criminal.
Check out... The fact albums this good can fail to sell by the bucket load
