Album Review: II (2002)
For fans of: hard rock... and the absence of Neal Schon
After a ten year break, Hardline returned for a second release. This time they came without the formidable talents of Neal Schon (although he did help write and perform the final track).
Schon's absence doesn't show too much in the performance, but the writing department is a tad lacking relative to the first release. The songs contain less fire and don't draw your attention as much. There are still plenty of reasonable tracks including 'Y' and 'Only A Night', but this doesn't hold a candle to the first effort.
