Album Review: Overload (2005)
For fans of: hard rock... and the battle of the heavy ballads
Better than their previous release but Overload is still not that all time classic Harem Scarem deserve to produce.
Harry Hess' voice and Pete Lesperance's guitar are on their usual firey form and make you wonder why they aren't worldwide superstars. Overload contains their best two ballads 'Can't Live With You', 'All You're Getting' and several other decent tracks. Again there are a few so-so songs that slightly tarnish the experience.
If Harem Scarem ever do a best-of it will have an astonishing track list. Overload continues the trend of so near and yet so... near.
Check out... 'All You're Getting' and 'Can't Live With You'. Which to choose?
