Album Review: Heart (Self Titled) (1985)
For fans of: hard rock... and classic Heart
Apart from 'These Dreams', there are no massive songs on this album. What it does offer is a consistency of sound and a number of very pleasant tracks. 'What About Love' and 'Never' are great, with 'Never' especially having a laid back atmosphere totally at odds with several of the other tunes.
This may have been released at the start of the hair metal explosion, but the sound harks back to the classic Heart vibe with a modern twist.
