HEARTLAND - stub review added 9th November 2008
Album Review: Move On (2005)
For fans of: hard rock... and UK rock
Heartland are a UK melodic rock outfit who have been releasing albums since 1991. This, their 9th album, is a fine piece of work with plenty of great catchy tunes on it.
'Hard Hearted Man', 'Getting Ready' and 'Where Do We Go From Here?' are personal highlights. Many of the other songs are nearly as good. The production on this album is perhaps a little distant and foggy, but that is a minor criticism.
Most of the songs here are above average and, even if there aren't any all-time classics, this is still a worthwhile album with lots to like.
Check out... 'Where Do We Go From Here?'. Hugely memorable.
