Album Review: Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son (1988)

For fans of: heavy metal... and iced Eddie

Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh SonArguably as good as The Number Of The Beast, Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son is crammed with great songs that have graced Maiden's live set through the years.

'Can I play With Madness' and 'The Evil That Men Do' are probably the best known, but 'The Clairvoyant', 'Infinite Dreams' and the title track all stick in the mind with aplomb.

Even though the rest of the world was going hair metal crazy, there was never any danger Iron Maiden would follow. This is heavy metal through and through, in fact if you tried hard enough you could melt it down and make drill bits.

Check out... 'The Evil That Men Do', Never a truer word spoken.
