Album Review: Lonely Are The Brave (2008)
For fans of: heavy metal... and guitar sounds so good you'll cry blood
Jorn Lande, former vocalist with Masterplan, has come up trumps on this album. He has armed himself with a fabulously heavy guitar sound and brilliant production, then marched to war with utter self confidence.
The first three songs are exceptional. 'Man Of The Dark', 'Promises' and 'Like Stone In Water' provide excellent back-up, and the cover of the Deep Purple classic 'Stormbringer' is a wonderfully modernised version of the original.
Lonely Are The Brave shows Jorn's voice in astounding shape. The team put together for this album have clearly bonded perfectly. The result is one of the best albums of this ferocity you'll have the pleasure of hearing.
