Album Review: Angel Of Retribution (2005)
For fans of: heavy metal... and the return of the messiah
First album back for Rob Halford after his years away from Judas Priest, Angel Of Retribution is a mixture of Ripper Owens style Priest with hints of Painkiller.
This is a good album but there's nothing radically new. Worryingly, the ballad 'Angel' is probably the best song, although 'Judas Rising' and 'Hellrider' have their moments too.
Better than their previous album, but only just, Angel Of Retribution is not quite a return to form but it's moving in the right direction.
