Album Review: The Greatest Wonder (2008)

For fans of: hard rock... and people who are far too talented

Khymera - The Greatest Wonder3rd Khymera album, and the second featuring über musician Dennis Ward on vocals and bass. This is a beautifully chilled album. You couldn't call it quiet because it rocks out frequently, but the air of relaxation that flows from your speakers is overwhelming.

Dennis Ward is one of those singers with a voice that doesn't lend itself to anger. Even when he's telling you he's going to kill you he still sounds like he's singing a beautiful ballad. As such, love songs on this album really are amazing.

The Greatest Wonder has a near-perfect range of songs. It should be noted again that this is a soft-sounding album and will not appeal to everyone, but if you love ballads and flowery rock this is pretty much as good as it gets.

Check out... 'Love Has Been And Gone'. One of the best ballads you could hope to hear.
