Album Review: Crazy Nights (1987)
For fans of: hard rock... and sensible days
Spunky hair-metal release from the masters of make-up, here sans-mascara, Crazy Nights is a collection of thoroughly over the top anthems and love songs.
To be honest they should have put a picture of a penis on the sleeve and called the album, 'Would you like this?'. This is cock rock with knobs on and, although it contains some fine songs, it's all a trifle obvious. 'Crazy Crazy Nights' is a huge anthem and one of the best songs of its genre, and 'Reason To Live' is a lovely ballad, but there is just as much you'll forget.
Not the best album ever, but worth a listen if you're cruising along the coast in a drop-top on a hot summer evening.
