Album Review: Waking The Dead (2002)

For fans of: sleaze rock... and slutty voices

L.A. Guns - Waking The Dead2002 album from the American sleaze rockers, Waking The Dead is a nice sounding but ultimately none-too-great release.

This is one of those all too common albums that does nothing wrong but little right. The title track is okay, and a few of the others stick momentarily in the mind, but ultimately it's all pretty forgettable. Phil Lewis has a properly slutty voice and the vibe does make you feel very dirty... which is nice.

Maybe good for fans of the genre, not so good for everyone else, Waking The Dead is likeable if uninspired.

Check out... The depravity of it all.
