Album Review: Kill 'Em All (1983)

For fans of: thrash... and the start of the legend

Metallica - Kill 'Em AllThe First full studio album by Metallica, Kill 'Em All contains many tracks that Metallica still play in their live sets today. 'Whiplash' and 'Seek And Destroy' are the best known, but most of the songs have a memorable sound and catchy chorus.

Metallica had recently split with Dave Mustaine when this record was produced, and several of the tracks were co-written by the soon-to-be Megadeth front man.

This was one of those thrash defining records and, although the sound quality is pretty appalling by today's standards, Kill 'Em All still comes across as hugely relevant.

Check out... 'Seek And Destroy'. A great song to hear live.
