Album Review: Master Of Puppets (1986)
For fans of: thrash... and graves with crosses on
Master Of Puppets is an album that suffers a huge amount of hype from the press. Whilst Metallica undoubtedly produced an album that epitomizes the thrash sound, there are better releases out there. If only just.
The first four tracks are near-perfect, and the remainder of the album is merely excellent. There is no doubting the aggression and exceptional songwriting on Master Of Puppets. Not quite the best thing since sliced bread, but pretty damn close!
Check out... 'Sanitarium'. Astoundingly good.
