Album Review: Rush Street (1991)
For fans of: rock... and singers who don't shorten their first name
Third Richard Marx album, Rush Street splits the difference sound wise between the first two releases. 'Take This Heart', 'Hazard' and 'Chains Around My Heart' are the top tracks. When I say top tracks, I mean as good as songs get. They truly are brilliant.
Rush Street, however, doesn't feature much to back up the best tracks and is consequently a disappointment. You can find yourself skipping a few songs on occasions, and that's never a good sign.
With the best tracks being so good, it's almost possible to forgive the lesser moments. Overall, not bad.
Check out... 'Chains Around My Heart'. Stunning.
