YNGWIE MALMSTEEN - stub review added 17th November 2008
Album Review: Trilogy (1986)
For fans of: neo-classical metal,,, and fights with multi-headed dragons
As you may have guessed from the name, this is Yngwie Malmsteen's third album.
First (and last for 13 years) to feature the mighty-lunged Mark Boals, Trilogy starts off with three of Yngwie's best tracks. If the rest of the album had merely been average the end result would still have been okay, but Trilogy defiantly throws you even more good songs. 'Fire' is especially catchy with a fine twist on the usual Malmsteen progressions and solos.
A brilliant introduction to Mark Boals by Yngwie Malmsteen, the relationship was sadly short lived but produced one of Yngwie's most essential albums.
Check out... 'You Don't remember...' and 'Queen In Love'. Wow.
