Album Review: Ozzmosis (1995)
For fans of: heavy metal... and songs about detectives
Featuring one of Ozzy's best ever songs in the shape of 'Perry Mason', Ozzmosis gets off to a monumental start. However, the rest of the album doesn't have the consistency of previous release No More Tears.
'Ghost Behind My Eyes' is an interesting beatles-esque track, and 'See You on The Other Side' and 'Tomorrow' are thoughtful slower tracks with huge choruses. The remaining tracks are more experimental and less successful.
A hit and miss release, Ozzmosis contains 4 great tracks and a few fillers. Not Ozzy's best work but it does contain some of his best songs. Go figure.
