Album Review: The Ultimate Sin (1986)

For fans of: heavy metal... and one shining light

Ozzy Osbourne - The Ultimate SinThe sound of Ozzy venturing into commerciality, The Ultimate Sin is a mostly bland offering with a flash or two of genius.

There is nothing frightful on the album, but the majority of the songs are hideously anonymous and fall from your mind the moment they finish. The exception is 'Shot In The Dark' which is an awesome recording and one of Ozzy's finer moments.

The Ultimate Sin is an uncharacteristically weak album with a single shining light. Buy the good song on iTunes and forget the rest.

Check out... The video to 'Shot In The Dark'. We like 80's cheese.
