Album Review: In10sity (2007)
For fans of: hard rock... and bonkers album covers
The tenth full studio album by Pink Cream 69 and, amazingly, the first that has managed to wander across my radar. Crazy when you consider they've been going for twenty years. I hold my head in shame!
With the inspiring vocals of David Readman and the bass/production skills of Dennis Ward, In10sity was always in with a good shout of being good. Fortunately it is even better than that. There are a truckload of great hard rocking melodic tracks and heart melting ballads. From the hook-laden 'Children Of The Dawn' to the sentimental 'Last Train To Nowhere', this album is a memorable journey.
Yep, this is bloody good. I really need to check out their other work. If this is anything to go by Pink Cream 69 could be one of the top rated bands on this site.
Check out... The weirdly cool intermission, 'Desert Land'. No idea why it's on the record but it's strangely compulsive listening.
