PRIDE OF LIONS - stub review added 24th November 2008

Album Review: The Destiny Stone (2004)

For fans of: hard rock... and awkward second albums

Pride Of Lions - The Destiny StoneMissing the astonishing brilliance of the first release, the 2nd Pride Of Lions album still has a number of tracks to please the ears.

'Parallel Lines' is good, as is 'Back To Camelot'. 'What Kind Of Fool' however is an inspiring yet sad masterpiece that matches anything from the first album.

The main problem is the lack of huge choruses. Everything is so close to greatness it hurts, but it needs that extra 10% of magic. Many people will find lots to like with The Destiny Stone and it is ultimately still an excellent album.

Check out... 'What Kind Of Fool'.
