Album Review: Metal Will Stand Tall (2006)
For fans of: hard rock... and Jakob's voice
Excellent debut album from this Swedish band, Metal Will Stand Tall features plenty of great tracks.
Vocalist Jakob Samuel has a unique, slightly mad voice giving the music a lighthearted feel. It works well with the uplifting sound the band generate. The album barely pauses for breath from start to finish. With songs like 'Night Of Passion', the operatic 'Song For You' and the epic 'Rockstar', this is up there with the best albums you'll hear.
A playful puppy of an album. Whilst their bombastic over-the-top style won't appeal to everyone, there should be something here for most rockers.
