Album Review: Duality (2005)
For fans of: alternative rock... and The Police (the band)
Sahaj Ticotin, vocalist with Ra, sounds uncannily like Sting. It therefore comes as no surprise to find a cover of 'Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic' on Duality.
This is a split personality album with some excellent rocking moments and a few quieter acoustic sounding tracks. 'Fallen Angels', 'Tell Me' and the magnificent 'Take Me Away' are the top moments, although 'I Lost Everything Today' and 'Only One' are good. Problem is the album then goes off on a tangent. There are still a number of decent tracks but several are as enjoyable as a rhino shaped suppository.
On balance a good-ish album, but it could have been much better.
