Album Review: Stronger (2006)
For fans of: hard rock... and Michael Bormann
Rain is something of a showcase for the talents of ex-Jaded Heart singer Michael Bormann. With a voice like warm caramel sauce, MB has a distinctive timbre and gives everything he works on his own personality.
This is a great collection of well written songs. Every track has something that inspires within its lyrics or music and the whole shebang is a memorable ride.
Michael Bormann has almost matched the level of his best Jaded Heart work with Rain. This is one of those releases that gets better with every listen. It comes highly recommended.
Check out... 'Deserve It'. Very tongue in cheek and all the better for it.
