Album Review: Hi Infidelity (1980)
For fans of: rock... and unique voices
Huge selling ninth studio album by REO Speedwagon, Hi Infidelity is packed with cleverly written and brilliantly performed tracks
If 'Don't Let Him Go' and 'Take It On The Run' are big, 'Keep On Loving You' is the size of a mountain. Kevin Cronin's vocals are utterly unmistakable and give the band an edge over similar bands of the period. The depth of music is impressive too, with layers of keyboards, guitars and percussion fighting for the limelight.
This is excellent, intelligent rock music played with feeling and style. This album proves how much of an underrated band REO Speedwagon are.
Check out... It has to be 'Keep On Loving You'. How could it not be?
