Album Review: Eyes Of Eternity (2003)
For fans of: power metal... and possibly not Rob Rock
Rob Rock's second solo album, Eyes Of Eternity is a fairly average trawl through the backwaters of power metal.
He may have an amazing voice and the songwriting may give him the chance to flex it with devastating results, but ultimately there isn't a lot from this album you remember even after repeated listens.
Plenty of good musicianship, but little of it is catchy. Nice artwork though.
Check out... Guitarist Rick Renstrom has phocomelia, resulting in his arms (one especially in his case) being shorter than they otherwise would be. He can still play guitar better than you ever will. Respect.
