Album Review: Dead Letters (2004)
For fans of: alternative rock... and being depressed
The Rasmus: Poor me, I have a massive house, a beautiful girlfriend, my parents love me and I earn lots of money from being a musician. I'm so unhappy!
Everyone else: Oh my god The Rasmus, Cheer up!
This is the scene that plays in your mind when you have the misfortune of hearing this album. It's like listening to a bunch of spoilt (Finnish) brats whining about bugger all. Even when they are singing about something happy they sound like they are moaning about it. 'In The Shadows' and 'Time To Burn' don't make you want to slash your wrists as much as the other songs, but that is about as good as it gets
Check out... A different album by someone else? Apart from the couple of good ones this is absolute cack.
