Album Review: The Sound Of Madness (2008)
For fans of: alternative rock... and bloody good music
Wow. This album is a pleasant surprise. I'm not normally a huge fan of the modern rock thing. It often swaps melody for noise and gets on my nerves. The Sound Of Madness however does not trade anything in its quest for contemporary superstardom.
This is one of those rare releases that sound exceptional from start to finish. Every chorus is the size of a skyscraper and more memorable than your first kiss.
What else can you say? This is as good as modern rock gets. It's time for Nickelback to pass the baton. And maybe it's time for me to reassess my musical tastes...
