Album Review: The Raging Fire (2004)
For fans of: hard rock... and songs so epic they should have a health warning
Follow up to their magnificent debut album, Seventh Key's second release is both better and worse.
The songs are vast this time and the production is much deeper than previous. 'Always From The Heart', the rolling masterpiece 'You Cross The Line' and the simply stunning 'It Should Have Been You' are arguably better than anything on the first album. The remaining songs are all great without exception, but that final hair's breadth of catchiness is gone.
Complaining about this album is like a blunt pin: pointless. This is, just like its older brother, astonishing.
