Album Review: Premonition (1981)

For fans of: hard rock... and listening to Survivor without having to hear 'Eye Of The Tiger'

Survivor - Premonition2nd studio offering from Survivor, Premonition may only feature eight tracks but it lacks in quantity in makes up for pretentious album covers.

Singer Dave Bickler puts a ton of passion into his performance and his voice his simply brilliant. However, it's the harmonies that make the recording what it is. Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik take songs like 'Summer Nights' and 'Poor Man's Son' to the other side of breathtaking.

Premonition is a short yet perfectly formed lesson in how to make a rock album. There isn't a moment of play time wasted and no tracks you would live without. Brilliant.

Check out... 'Summer Nights'. One of those songs that should be played on the radio a lot more than it is.

Track List:

1. Chevy Nights
2. Summer Nights
3. Poor Man's Son
4. Runaway Lights
5. Take You On a Saturday
6. Light of A Thousand Smiles
7. Love Is On My Side
