Album Review: Spellbound (1999)
For fans of: hard rock... and strong Celtic influences
Hard rocking 4th album by Ten, Spellbound is a collection of strong rock songs and characterful interludes.
The title track bursts into life like a hand grenade and rolls along with ferocity, drawing the listener towards the sing along chorus. 'We Rule The Night' is very Celtic in nature and not at all rocking, but it sounds brilliant regardless. 'Red' is even more Celtic and one of the best battle songs you could ever hope to hear. It almost shows Manowar how to do it.
The remaining songs are all above average making this the best Ten album at the time of it's release.
