TEN - stub review added 10th December 2008
Album Review: Ten (Self Titled) (1996)
For fans of: hard rock... and UK rock
Ten is the self titled debut of UK rockers, unsurprisingly called, Ten. Ten features the talented Gary Hughes and a couple of former Dare members amongst others.
This is a great collection of melodious hard rock tracks. There's no pretension or nonsense on this album, just great songs played with passion. The second half of the album isn't quite up to the standards set by the first, by the overall feel is of a well written and produced album that deserves more attention than it got.
Check out... The newer version of this album (sold as a double album with In The Name Of The Rose) packaged with a few bonus tracks.
