Album Review: The Twilight Chronicles (2006)
For fans of: hard rock... and songs with a part i and part ii
After a few really good albums by Ten, The Twilight Chronicles is a thorough disappointment. The songs are truly epic, but in the process they have lost their catchiness. The entire album sounds like beautifully written and performed background music.
This is not in your face rock or driving music or anything really. It's very anonymous which is kind of sad. Gary Hughes and Ten are considerably better than this. If they record another album let's hope they return to the brilliance of their last few offerings. We want our songs to be memorable and clever, not JUST clever!
Check out... 'This Heart Goes On'. The one shining beacon in the eternal night of this album.
