Album Review: Save Your Prayers (1986)
For fans of: hard rock... and Danny Vaughn
Waysted are a UK band featuring UFO bassist Pete Way amongst others. Save Your Prayers features vocalist Danny Vaughn in his only outing with the band.
The songs are lively and hard rocking with a big sound. You get the impression the musicians were beating their instruments to within an inch of their lives. Danny Vaughn's voice is as good as ever, although with the speed and ferocity of the tracks he doesn't get the chance shine as sometimes he does.
Save Your Prayers is a solid rock album with nothing to dislike. It's certainly worthy of a listen though.
