Album Review: Wig Wamania (2006)
For fans of: hard rock... and bands who don't take themselves that seriously
2nd album of all new material from Norwegian band Wig Wam, Wig Wamania continues the trend set by Hard To Be A Rock And Roller. This features glam metal and ballads at their finest.
Every song on the album is catchy, well written and well performed. Wig Wamania is a more grown up effort than the first and has a considerably higher production and songwriting quality. There are no tracks to match 'In My Dreams' but there's plenty that get close. It's the consistency that hits home with this album. You simply don't get a chance to breath from start to finish.
Wig Wamania may lack a little character in comparison to the first release, but we'll let it off. This is such a perfect collection of party songs it doesn't matter one iota.
Check out... 'Dare Devil Heat'. How Funky?!
