These are the songs that Rock Realms shouldn't like but does. They aren't rock, but they are bloody brilliant. The songs are listed in no particular order... just in case you were wondering....

Barbra Streisand and Barry Gibb
Guilty (1980)
Featuring the dulcet tones of Streisand and Gibb, this song is utter magic. The fact the album also contains 'Woman In Love' is the icing on the lily. Or whatever.
Elton John
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (1973)
Utterly stunning song from his best selling, similarly title album. Wow :)
Billy Preston And Syreeta
Born Again (1979)
Do female vocals get any better than Syreeta's? Billy Preston ain't the worst either!
Steps
You're Everything That Matters To Me (1999)
Yes, I know, it's Steps. But don't criticise until you hear this track. It's phenomenal. Even better, it doesn't sound anything like their other songs.
David Bowie
Life On Mars (1971)
Featuring the rocker's favourite, Rick Wakeman, on piano, this track is vast; bigger than me, bigger than you, bigger than everything.
Tears For Fears
Head Over Heels (1985)
Crazy video, amazing song. There's nothing else to know.
Duran Duran
The Reflex (1984)
Oh to hear a heavy metal version of this. Still, the original version is extraordinarily good, so who's complaining?
Boney M
Rasputin (1978)
What could possibly better than a song that sounds great and dishes out some historical education?
Glen Campbell
Rhinestone Cowboy (1975)
He may not have written it but he certainly made it his own. We like.
Neil Diamond
Love On The Rocks (1980)
Not the happiest song of all time, but quite possibly the greatest. But that's just my opinion...
The Hollies
The Air That I Breathe (1974)
It may only be a cover version, but this one is by far and away the best take on a beautifully, intelligently and brilliantly written love song.
Michael Jackson and Siedah Garrett
I Just Can't Stop Loving You (1987)
A beautiful ballad from the late great MJ, the album was BAD but the song certainly wasn't.
Barry Manilow
I Write The Songs (1975)
As it happens, he didn't write this song at all, but Barry's version is by far the best.
Wham!
Careless Whisper (1984)
Written by the super talented Andrew Ridgely and the so-so George Michael, or something like that, this song is the daddy and the mummy.
Kenny Rogers And Dolly Parton
Islands In The Stream (1983)
Surprisingly, penned by the Bee Gees, and sung by two of Country's brightest ever stars, Islands In The Stream is surely as good as feel-good duets get.
Just missing the cut, honourable mentions in no particular order go to Suddenly by Cliff Richard And Olivia Newton-John, Delilah by Tom Jones, Ordinary World by Duran Duran, One And Only by Chesney Hawkes and Stayin' Alive by The Bee Gees.
