It is with great regret that Slayer announces the postponement of its Canadian Carnage tour with Megadeth, which was due to begin on November 8. In addition, the band announces the postponement of its appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which had been set for tonight, Wednesday the 4th of November.
More information will be released shortly regarding the rescheduling of the Canadian dates, as well as the 'Kimmel' appearance.

Vaughn believes in his musical gifts like any artist should, but it really comes across in everything he does, from writing, directing, financing, to producing a piece of art that is at the least, a breath of fresh air in a world nearly void of passion.
Chris Vaughn was raised by his single mother in a hard working town, down at the Jersey Shore. He first auditioned for a local band right out of high school and quickly found his home in the smoky rock bars like the legendary Stone Pony and Brighton Bar, bars that many major acts also got their start. His first demo Against the Grain got rave reviews from young journalist for his “edgy lyrics and melodic angst” which helped him start drawing in a regular audience.
After spending a significant amount of time doing live performances, writing and recording, Vaughn took a break to focus on his song-writing skills and decided to document his attempts (on film) to reach one of his two hometown heroes, Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi, in hopes of peaking their interest in his own artistic abilities, and potentially get a helping hand from a fellow Jersey boy. Realizing the difficulty of pursuing his dreams, he put his house up to finance the documentary film and ended up luckily landing Springsteen in the Eleventh hour to join his film.
Vaughn hired his friend to move in and help him record his debut album, “for those that have ears” which he says has many meanings, but the most obvious one being his respect for famed Artist, Vincent van Gogh, who cut his ear off for love. The album was co-produced by multi-platinum engineer, Kennan Keating, who also worked with artists like, Jane's Addiction, Nine Inch Nails, James Brown, Beyonce and many more.
The single track 'Fallen Angel' from the album quickly gained local attention and was featured on the Jersey Rock Program at the WRAT Radio Station and received more calls and requests than any other local artist before. Word spread more when the Asbury Park Press featured him on the cover of their Entertainment Section “Like scenes from Hollywood” with a picture of Vaughn and Springsteen on the set of his documentary film Jerseyboy Hero.
'Fallen Angel' was included in the score of the major motion picture Stiletto out this year starring Tom Berenger, Tom Sizemore, Michael Biehn and many more. The Album is being released by Vaughn’s own record label and publishing division of Bmi, New Toy Music.

> DEATH ANGEL CRUISE
American thrash metal band Death Angel has been confirmed for the Sweden Rock Cruise on April 8-9 2010. This will be the band´s first Swedish gig since the early 90´s.

> CHICKENFOOT AWARDED
Classic Rock Magazine last night named Chickenfoot as 2009's 'Best New Band' at their annual awards ceremony that took place at London's Park Lane Hotel. While unable to attend the London ceremony, the band recorded a personalized video acceptance speech which played out to rapturous applause.
The star studded event was attended by such legends as Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, Pete Townshend of The Who, Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones, Brian May of Queen, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Jeff Beck, Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Iggy Pop, Slash of Guns N' Roses, Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath, Joey Tempest of Europe, Ginger Baker of Cream, Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders, Carl Palmer of ELP and members of Iron Maiden, Anthrax, Anvil, Marillion, ZZ Top, Uriah Heep and Mott the Hoople.
The prestigious award follows a successful year for the band, including sold out concerts and their debut album going Gold in America. The band will also release a new Deluxe Edition of their eponymous debut album in the UK on Monday November 9th, available through the earMUSIC label.

Capturing all the emotional force and fury of today's rock scene, Frontiers Records proudly announces the signing of one of the hottest new bands to come on the scene: The Murder Of My Sweet.
Formed by drummer, songwriter and producer Daniel Flores who after a few false starts of what was to become The Murder Of My Sweet just by coincidence came across the magnificent singer Angelica Rylin - well endowed with the right look, voice and talents, being exactly what Daniel was searching for. The rest of The Murder Of My Sweet's line up was then rather easily recruited - guitarist Daniel Palmqvist, bass player Johan Niemann and keyboardist Andreas Lindahl all being mentally, creatively and spiritually the right combination to complete the perfect match.
The Murder Of My Sweet's sound is rich in influence and yet distinctly unique. The lush melodic cinematic landscapes reflect the diversity of the five members own musical experiences. From Angelica's soaring vocal melodies and sweeping choruses to the explosive layers of guitars from Palmqvist and the thrilling orchestral keyboard arrangements painted by Andreas Lindahl backed by the bombastic and dynamic rhythms of Niemann and Flores. The resulting collaborations are a work both haunting and uplifting - fuelled by the curiosity of seeing where their burning ambitions will take them.
