I Scream Records is excited to welcome Misconduct to their ever growing roster. Their new record One Step Closer will be released this spring right before they'll be kicking off their European tour.
Misconduct was founded in the little Swedish town Kristinehamn and through the years they've developed their own unique blend of melodic hardcore punk. The band has toured al over Scandinavia, Europe and North America together with bands like Anti-Flag, Sick Of It All, AFI, Hatebreed, Ignite, Death By Stereo and have managed to build a very strong fan-base all around the globe.
The band's 2005 release, United As One, propelled them to a whole new level and the videos for the songs 'Side By Side' and 'No Boundaries' even broke on MTV and ZTV. In 2006 the band even received the award for ”Best Swedish Live Act”.
Misconduct's upcoming album One Step Closer contains 12 brand new songs are is simply a must-have for fans of melodic hardcore punk! The video for 'Closer' is directed by Patric Ullaeus who made award-winning videos for bands like In Flames, Europe, Dimmu Borgir...

From the 3 time Platinum, million record selling European rock band Lafee, Ricky Garcia shows off his amazing guitar skills in this record named, Let Sleeping Dogs Lie!!
Ricky Garcia was born in the city of Cologne, the capital of German Karneval. Influenced by the playing of Andy Timmons, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai, Ricky discovered his passion for the guitar. It was then he wanted to be a full time musician and studied recording studio business in Cologne. After 2 years of working in the industry, he started to spend more time recording his own songs to fulfil his desire to sharpen his guitar skills. He then went to Boston to Berklee College of Music to fulfil his dream.
Soon after graduating from Berklee he went on to join European rock band Lafee where he went on to 1.2 million records, 8 gold, 3 platinum records, two No. 1 albums and playing major venues around the world!

> ETERNAL DESCENT ADDS GUS G
Guitarist Gus G of the popular metal band Firewind, and also the newly recruited guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne, is featured in the third issue of the gothic comic book series Eternal Descent, slated for publication in July, 2010.
The issue features a storyline inspired by guitar hero Gus G who helps Eternal Descent characters Lyra and Sirian race against time to save Apollo and the rest of the band from the dissonant call of The Damned.
The comic book will be available at comic book stores worldwide through Diamond Distribution.

> MARSEILLE HEADLINE
Marseille have just announced a totally one off, and very unique, outdoor headline show at New Brighton's historical Fort Perch Rock on Sunday 25th July 2010 with support from a number of local Merseyside rock bands.
Fort Perch Rock was built as a coastal defence battery during the Napoleonic period to protect the Port of Liverpool and is the venue for many exciting events.
Tickets for the show, which is to be filmed, are now on sale priced at £14.00 here . More details on the support bands and planned start times will follow soon, as will an announcement on the release of the forthcoming album Unfinished Business.

> BOSTON HARDCORE IS BACK - REFUSE RESIST
Hardcore. Punk. These are the two things that brought Mike, John and Shawn together in 2007 to form Refuse Resist.
There was a time when music was life, and life was music. A time when people communicated with each other face to face. Whether it was a club or a basement, music was easy to find and a lot of kids were into it. Refuse Resist was formed to try to bring those ideals back into the present through good straight up hardcore punk. A blend of all sides of Hardcore, Punk and Oi! create the unique sound from this Boston band.
Shawn Refuse's singing blends beautifully, yet maliciously with every aspect of the music backing him. The guitars are crunching, the bass is wild, and the drums are quite furious. All combined, it's almost as if The Circle Jerks, The Dead Kennedys and Blood For Blood got together and had a bunch of bastard children called Refuse Resist.
The CD Socialized features Mark Powers, of the Boston punk outfit The Welch Boys on bass. In 2010, Refuse Resist signed on bass player Don, and guitarist Steve Risteen (original guitarist for Slapshot) to the line-up for a fuller and more dynamic live show.

> VELVET RAZOR'S RAINBOW WARRIORS
Showcasing a fantastic musical diversity that many guitar bands are far too afraid to indulge, Velvet Razor announce their arrival on the national classic rock scene with the impressive EP Rainbow Warriors released on Monday June 14th through Velvet Razor Records.
Dave Kent is the visionary leader of the band, taking on roles as chief song-writer and lead guitarist, and he brings to life the Velvet Razor sound with influences ranging from the psychedelic 60’s and the melodic rock sound of the 70’s. This is all wrapped up amid some great modern compositions, beautiful melodies, thoughtful lyrics and high-class guitar work, making the Rainbow Warriors EP a fantastic addition to any classic rock fan's music collection.
