For one day only, LAB Records will literally give away their entire roster for free! As one of the most successful independent labels of its kind out there right now, with 15,000 sales this year alone, LAB has built up a solid following of admirers in its short history, and this is their way of giving something back to their fans.
LAB Records CEO Mark Orr said; "This is a huge time for the label as we come towards the end of our most successful year to date and prepare for a more mainstream sound in 2011. > SANDALINAS FINISHING 3RD ALBUM
SANDALINAS is finishing the recording of CIRCLES; his forthcoming album featuring music written by Jordi Sandalinas, Andy LaRocque (KING DIAMOND) and Guitarist Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA). Andy LaRocque also wrote music specially for this album and will lay down some guest solos. The band is currently at Andy La Rocque's Sonic Train Studios in Varberg.
SANDALINAS is the Swedish/Spanish band featuring Mats Rendlert (bass;DREAMLAND), Alvaro Svanerö (drums; LOCH VOSTOK), Jordi Sandalinas (guitar) and Rick Altzi (vocals; AT VANCE).
"Never Seen Before", the most recent video from SANDALINAS can be viewed below. The clip was shot at the Fortress of Varberg in Varberg, Sweden and features both indoor and outdoor footage.
According to Wikipedia, the Fortress of Varberg was built during 1287-1300 by count Jacob Nielsen as protection against his Danish King, who had declared him an outlaw after the murder of King Eric V of Denmark.
"Never Seen Before" comes off SANDALINAS' latest album, "Fly to the Sun", which was released in January via Metal Heaven. The CD features guest appearances by Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER) on keyboards, Chris Caffery on guitar and Andy La Rocque (KING DIAMOND) on guitar.
"Fly to the Sun" was recorded and produced by Andy La Rocque at his Los Angered Recording (now Sonic Train) in Sweden featuring guest artists as Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen) and Chris Caffery (Savatage, TSO).

> CHRISTIAN MISTRESS ALBUM OUT THIS WEEK... + TOUR
Agony & Opium, the debut release from Olympia, Washington's hyped metal troupe CHRISTIAN MISTRESS will be available to the public this Tuesday, August 24th! This anticipated 6-song rager is a priority release for unpredictable metal label 20 Buck Spin -- which is also located in Olympia -- and the band has already made a fairly noticeable buzz in the underground. Their infectious blend of classic heavy metal and West Cost thrash, combined with their own organic creativity and the prominent female vocals let the band be classified as traditional as well as original.
CHRISTIAN MISTRESS will celebrate Agony & Opium's advent with a hometown record release party Friday the 27th. This will also kick off the band's heavy upcoming touring season, as today we are proud to announce their upcoming US tour this fall. Kicking off in late September, CHRISTIAN MISTRESS will embark on their first major tour, rocking almost every night for over a month in support of the album alongside Thrones (Joe Preston). Several dates are still being added and confirmed so stay tuned for updates, but the confirmed routing as of now is below. Be prepared for tour updates and more touring announcements to be made in the coming weeks and beyond.

> ‘MUM LOCKED IN CASTLE’ RELEASE NEW EP
Ascending skewed-up rock crew Mum Locked In Castle unveil their brand new five-track EP through Medium Rare Records, on 25th October 2010.
Sounding like an early Incubus spewing out dirty funked-up metal grooves and breeding with the spawn of The Mars Volta, MLIC are here to make their twisted mark on the UK scene, and these Yorkshire Terriers have the perfect bait in the shape of their new record ‘Lions Led’, out this Autumn.
Hailing from the small sleepy seaside town of Scarborough and taking their moniker from a headline article of their local tabloid, Mum Locked In Castle were formed in late 2007 by four sharp students at the University of Hulls Scarborough campus. In an effort to evade boredom and seek inspiration, the sprightly quartet spat out their debut EP ‘Vultures’, which chalked up strong praise from many sectors of the underground press. MLIC pulled from a span of notable influences ranging from the likes of Rueben and Incubus, through to Blakfish and even Nine Inch Nails, yet their own stamp was indelibly etched on the record. The wirey upstarts played a host of shows throughout England in support of the EP, even managing to rack up supports to UK heavyweights ‘Feeder’ and Fast-rising UK treasures ‘Pulled Apart by Horses’ along the way.
Early 2010, Mum Locked In Castle decided to head into the studio with the clear intent of upping the ante. The band recruited Jason Wilcock (Reuben, Blakfish) to work on the record and they headed down south to the Big Smoke to Stakeout Studios to lay down cuts for their next installment ‘Lions Led’. Now armed with an exciting new EP that swerves and pulls right from the get-go, MLIC will be unleashed to wider plains. So, look out – MLIC have arrived.
