From the peeps at Iron Maiden: Rod’s back, having successfully completed his charity cycle ride along the Nile, but his auction of Maiden memorabilia runs on until February 2nd. There are three very special items up for grabs, and since we want them to go to a good home, the auction is only open to Iron Maiden Fan Club members. We’ve got a fantastic guitar, signed by the whole band making it a truly rare and collectable item, a signed Flight 666 DVD poster and Rod’s own personalised platinum disc for the Flight 666 DVD.

> HARD RELEASE ON ESCAPE MUSIC
Escape Music will release the new HARD album Time Is Waiting For No One on February 19.
HARD is a Swedish-Hungarian hard rock group, formed in 2004 by some of the finest musicians in the Hungarian hard rock scene. After 2 critically acclaimed and award nominated albums in Hungary, the band decided to take a step forward and hit the international music territories with English lyrics.
After several line up changes, their first international offering, Traveller, Thanks to the album's leading single, 'Stay', which was heavily rotated on the radio, the record soon became successful. The band has appeared in the biggest international hard rock & heavy metal magazines, such us Metal Hammer, Burrn!, Fireworks, Hardline, Powerplay, etc. Rave reviews were made from every corner of the planet, even from the USA.
None other than famed record producer Beau Hill (of Winger/Ratt/Warrant fame) blew his mind when he first heard the album, so he immediately asked the guys to let him remix some of the tunes. They agreed, and the result was more than amazing. The band also made a highly successful guest appearance at the Z Rock Festival in the UK in May 2009, but right after that a brand new chapter began in the HARD history.
In August 2009, the band announced that they have joined forces with acclaimed Swedish vocalist/guitarist/producer Björn Lodin of Baltimore. The band is now ready with the long awaited next CD, entitled Time Is Waiting For No One, scheduled to release in Feb 27, 2010.
