> AMEN'S DEATH BEFORE MUSICK RE-RELEASE
Few bands in recent times have had the fearsome reputation of Amen. Their unrelenting, uncompromising power and fury has made them one of the most adored and respected names of the generation.
Led by front-man Casey Chaos – a man who quite literally bleeds for his art - the impressive Death Before Musick saw the band signing to the EatUrMusic label, run by System Of A Down guitarist Daron Malakian.
There's no question that this album, produced by Chaos and Malakian, is a tirade, a tornado of emotions. But for Chaos, it wasn't the birth of a fresh era for Amen, but meant to be the end of the line. He had poured so much of himself into the record, one that was the climactic, darkly orgiastic conclusion for Amen, or should have been.......
Listening again to Death Before Musick, we need what Casey Chaos stands for now more than ever.
This set includes 4 bonus tracks plus liner notes that include a new interview with Casey Chaos and Duke Decter by Malcolm Dome and additional photos supplied by Casey Chaos.
Track list: 1. Liberation For..., 2. Hello (One Chord Loves), 3. California's Bleeding, 4. The Abolishment Of Luxury, 5. Money Infection, 6. Westwood Fallout, 7. Oblivion Stereo, 8. Please Kill Me, 9. Exterminate!, 10. We Got The Bait, 11. Neutron Liars, 12. Sorry, Not Sorry, 13. Bring Me The Heads, 14. Fuck In LA, 15. The Summer Of Guns, 16. The Many Deaths Of..., 17.
