> BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION ARTWORK

Black Country Communion, the new rock super group featuring former Deep Purple/Black Sabbath’s GLENN HUGHES (vocals, bass), Led Zeppelin’s JASON BONHAM (drums), guitar player JOE BONAMASSA (guitar, vocals), and Dream Theater’s DEREK SHERINIAN (keyboards), have today revealed the artwork for the debut album for the first time.

Released by Mascot Records in the UK and Europe on Monday September 20th, followed by a North American release via J&R Adventures on September 21st, the hotly tipped debut album is produced and mixed by KEVIN SHIRLEY (Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin).

“The album’s jam-packed with quality rock songs that collectively showcase each musician,” says Dave Lewis, editor of the Led Zeppelin magazine Tight But Loose. “BCC is no exercise in mere retro rock,” continues Lewis. “The album has a definite contemporary edge. Yes, there’s a real groove to it but, as Glenn says, with a Bonham involved, that’s to be expected. Jason puts in a performance that emphasizes why he was such an integral part of the success of the Led Zeppelin O2 reunion show.”

“This is the real thing and it’s the right thing to do at the right time,” adds Glenn Hughes. “It’s current, not old, or heritage, it’s designed to be a classic modern rock album and I get a chance to sing – really sing rock again, without holding back."

> DECIBEL MAGAZINE PREMIERES OCTOBER TIDE

Decibel Magazine today has premiered the first song from OCTOBER TIDE's new album, A Thin Shell, scheduled for release on September 28. “Blackness Devours” can now be heard by visiting: http://decibelmagazine.com/Content.aspx?ncid=378527.

A Thin Shell is the first new album from Sweden’s OCTOBER TIDE in over ten years. Mixed/mastered at Black Lounge Studios in Sweden and featuring artwork from American photographer/graphic designer Travis Smith (Opeth, Katatonia, Testament, Death etc.) the album delivers what fans have anxiously awaited from this treasured band. Guitarist/founder Fredrik Norrman recently commented, "I have wanted to get OCTOBER TIDE back together for some time. When we decided the time was right, ideas for new songs surprisingly came together nicely. Many sleepless nights were involved, with lots of coffee of course, but the songs were written in flow one after another."

Formed in 1995 by then Katatonia guitarist Norrman and Katatonia/Bloodbath vocalist Jonas Renkse, OCTOBER TIDE quickly made a mark with two albums recorded and released during the years 1997 and 1999 (Rain Without End and Grey Dawn, respectively). Much of the band's music was written during a short break up of Katatonia which later proved only temporary as the band would reform and continues today; their latest album, Night Of The New Day, features work by Norrman. OCTOBER TIDE would not perform live during this short period of activity and few interviews with the members were granted despite praise from both media and fans. The band, until reforming in late 2009, would maintain a cult status throughout the doom/metal community.

OCTOBER TIDE currently features vocalist Tobias Netzell, drummer Robin Bergh, session bassist Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry, Carnal Forge) with Norrman.

> NEUROSIS LIVE AT ROADBURN

Neurot Recordings proudly unveil a brand new live album from NEUROSIS, who are undoubtedly cited as one of the most influential bands of heavy music's experimental underworld.

The first release from NEUROSIS since 2007’s Given to the Rising, this new live album was recorded that same year in Tilburg, Holland, at the annual Roadburn Festival, where NEUROSIS headlined to a diehard audience. The album expertly captures as much of the band's live experience as one possibly could on a physical recording, harnessing the monolithic flow and power of the band's well-known sonically devastating live performances. The monstrous 78-minute record showcases this iconic band surging through hymns from their last few albums, including Given To The Rising, The Eye Of Every Storm, A Sun That Never Sets, and Through Silver In Blood.

Live At Roadburn will see official release on August 30, 2010, alongside the reissue of NEUROSIS' groundbreaking 1993 release Enemy Of The Sun. The 'Roadburn release features the iconic artwork/layout skills of visionary artist/NEUROSIS live visual master Josh Graham, also responsible for the redesigned Enemy Of The Sun layout. Both albums will be released on CD worldwide August 30th, 2010, part of this year's celebration of the 25th anniversary of the legendary act.

Live At Roadburn 2007 Track List: 1. Given to the Rising, 2. Burn, 3. A Season in the Sky, 4. At the End of the Road, 5. Crawl Back In, 6. Distill, 7. Water Is Not Enough, 8. Left to Wander, 9. The Doorway
